Removal of previous surface treatments through abrasive blasting.
The specific abrasive media that is used to clean the surface of the wheels is important to the final finish results. Silica (sand) media [for example] can leave behind difficult to remove pollutants that interfere with the adherance of the powdercoat.
We use a custom formulated plastic [blast]media to prepare the surface for powdercoating after chemical stripping.
